People moves: Telikom PNG, IPBC, PNG Power, APNGBC

New CEO at Telikom PNG, two new board members at IPBC, a resignation at PNG Power, a new council president, and Leighton’s chairman to retire.

People 02The Board of Telikom PNG has appointed Michael Donnelly as the new Chief Executive Officer for Telikom PNG. Prior to joining Telikom PNG, Donnelly was Executive Director for the New South Wales Department of Finance, involved in preparing state owned entity (SOE) businesses for privatisation.

Two new board members of the Independent Public Business Corporation have been sworn in. Paul Nerau has replaced Dr Thomas Webster as chairman. Dr Mosey Sau replaces Felecia Dobunaba as a new board member.

Lawyer and businessman Robert Bradshaw has resigned as deputy chairman and director of the PNG Power Ltd.

Geoff Day of Newcrest Mining is the new President of the Australia Papua New Guinea Business Council, succeeding Peter Taylor. Cadden Crowe’s Scott Robert remains a Vice President, while Westpac’s Greg Pawson becomes a Vice President of the Council.

The chairman of Leighton Holdings, Robert Humphris, is to retire, following a company restructure.
