PNG Accident Investigation Commission seeks an experienced investigator for the role of Adviser – Investigations Manager.

The PNG Accident Investigation Commission is the State Entity in Papua New Guinea responsible for conducting ‘independent-objective, no-blame’ investigations into aircraft accidents and serious incidents.

The AIC is seeking a person of high integrity and strong ethical values, with demonstrated relevant leadership qualities and technical experience. The selected Adviser will continue the strong development work and take the AIC Investigation Division to the next level of capability and leadership in the Pacific Region, and into multi-modal investigation capability.

Job requirements

• 10 years as an investigator with an ICAO Annex 13 compliant State investigation entity.
• Significant accident and serious incident investigation experience.
• Senior level leadership and management experience in a State investigation entity.
• A detailed understanding of ICAO and the Annexes to the Convention on International Civil Aviation.
