Express Air Cargo is the largest independent air freight agent in PNG, (a division of Express Freight Management) committed to providing dedicated air cargo services to & from anywhere around the world.

EAC is the country agency-partner of major global express airfreight service providers, and connected to a wide network of International Freight forwarders which allows EFM global access and better capabilities to deliver.

Due to the ongoing growth of the business, an opportunity exists for a new sales role. In collaboration with the Airfreight Operations Manager and Port Moresby Branch Manager, the Airfreight Sales & Service Manager will promote EFM’s airfreight service capabilities to secure new business and contribute ongoing growth.

Core Duties: A hands-on role in sales and customer servicing within EFM’s key international freight departments.

• Face to face customer sales, electronic sales, promotions and advertising. Our local market is dominated by TNT & DHL; there is a need to build awareness in the market of EFM’s brands, services, abilities and capabilities. The focus is to route freight into our import and export systems.
• Identify sales prospects from our extensive customer base.

Job requirements

The successful person should have at least 5 years sales and customer interface and international air freight industry experience, possesses business qualities of common sense, honesty, reliability built on either a practical business background or technical experience.

• A self-dedication to improvement and to ‘getting the job done’.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• Management experience through technical or on the job exposure to hands on performance roles.
