PNG Air is recruiting for an Airport Manager to oversee the direction and administration of the day-to-day operations of the Mt Hagen Airport.

The incumbent will maintain contact with National Airports Corporation (NAC), Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA), the general public and other relevant stakeholders for the purpose of managing operations of Mt Hagen Airport.  The Airport Manager reports to the Regional Airports Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure 100% On Time Performance (OTP) of flight turnarounds
• Management of all airport staff
• Assist in establishing compliance policies and procedures regarding CASA regulations
• Overall accountability for customer service, CASA and Airport standards

Qualifications & skills

• Diploma in Business Management is preferable
• A minimum of five years’ experience in the airline industry (highly desirable)
• Thorough understanding of airport operations
• Excellent reporting, interpersonal and communication skills
