They are currently looking for suitably qualified individual for the role of Branch Manager based in their Mt Hagen Branch.

Role & responsibilities

The Branch Manager is part of the Origin Energy PNG (OEPNG) Management Team and reports to the Regional Sales Manager. This position is responsible for the effective management of Origin Energy’s Mt Hagen LPG Terminal and coordinate the safe receipt, storage and handling of LPG in compliance with Origin Energy’s guiding principles and HSE standards as well as ensuring there is no plant or equipment downtime. Other key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring all plant and equipment are maintained in safe conditions in accordance with Origin and industry standards and procedures
• Ensuring that terminal and distribution activities are coordinated effectively daily to meet the customers’ requirements, which includes delivering quality, in full and on time
• Maintaining and sustaining customer relationships, sales and distribution

Job requirements

The person they seek must have the following qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business Management or relevant trainings
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role in safety fuel industry
• Exposure to a complex retail environment or energy industry
• Current Class 3 Driving License or above
