Grand Columbia Limited is currently looking to recruit a Building Manager who can oversee the safety and maintenance of three Commercial Office Buildings. A person who can recommend, coordinate and implement building improvement ensuring tenants have a safe and enjoyable workplace.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and goal oriented individual with a customer-focus approach who takes pride in their success. The duties and responsibilities will include the following.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain safe environment with proper lighting, signage and disability access
• Ensure emergency plans and evacuation procedures are implemented
• Oversee security, fire prevention, and other safety systems.
• Scheduling regular building maintenance and janitorial services.

Job requirements

• Degree graduate from a recognized institution in PNG or Diploma with more than 10 years of building management experience and building trade certified in a related technical field,
• Critical thinking, problem solving, strong leadership skills and detail oriented,
• Negotiation skills, customer service experience, Human Resources Management experience,
• Understanding of building codes and safety regulations, ability to set and meet goals, result orienteddriven, building maintenance experience in a commercial property portfolio
