The National Airports Corporation invite suitably qualified professionals to apply for the role of Business Development Manager.

National Airports Corporation (NAC) is the mandated organisation in PNG to operate all the 22 major airports across PNG. It is governed by the Civil Aviation Act 2000 (as amended) and the Civil Aviation Rule Part 139 to provide safe and secure airport services that meet the international standards and recommended practices.

NAC is currently undergoing significant infrastructure development and organisational realignment exercise for improved compliance to safety and security standards and improved customer experience at its airports. To support drive these strategic initiatives NAC is looking to invite suitably qualified and experienced professionals to immediately fill the following role Business Development Manager.

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be a key member of the Commercial Division based in Port Moresby. The role may require travel to other airports and locations for business matters and routine checks. He/She will report directly to the General Manager Commercial and may be required to attend Executive Meetings from time to time.

Key responsibilities

• Provide analysis on current and potential future return on investments.
• Provide sound analysis on investment proposals and make recommendations on best business model for investments.
• Optimize management of assets through market analysis, property rentals & sales for revenue generation.

Job requirements

• Degree in Business Management or Commercial (Accounting)
• At least 10 years of working experience
• 5 years’ experience in similar role
• Should have solid financial and business acumen, negotiation and marketing skills.
• Proven skills in business and financial management.
