BSP Life PNG Limited is looking to employ a talented Business Relationship Manager.

BSP Life PNG Limited is a member of the BSP Group. Recently opening its doors for business in Papua New Guinea, BSP Life aims to provide protection and savings insurance plans for its customers. BSP Life, a licensed Life Insurer in PNG, is the second insurance company in the group. The first operation is in Fiji and they have more than 140 years’ experience in the life insurance industry.

Business Relationship Manager – Port Moresby Sales Unit

The primary purpose of the role is to effectively contribute to the achievement of the organisation’s strategic and tactical sales plans by providing high-quality leadership, administrative oversight and technical support in line with the Sales Unit’s goals and objectives.

Key deliverables

• Manage the Sales Agency network and report to the Head of Sales on the performance of the Sales Unit.
• Deliver the Sales Unit’s Life Insurance New Business volume and quality sales targets.
• Lead, motivate and assist Sales Agents to optimise external opportunities, follow the needs selling process and effectively manage after sales service to achieve the Unit’s New Business and Persistency targets.

Job requirements

• Tertiary qualifications are preferred with at least 5 years experience in the Insurance industry (preferably Life Insurance).
• Proven leadership capabilities and ability to lead a diverse group of individuals to achieve a common goal.
• Good Knowledge of the Industry and Insurance Products as well as Sales & Service Processes.
