The Papua New Guinea–Australia Governance Partnership is jointly governed by both governments through the broader Papua New Guinea – Australia Partnership, with Abt Associates providing implementation and operational support to the governance partnership portfolio.

The Church Partnership Program is a successful partnership between the Governments of Australia and Papua New Guinea, Papua New Guinea’s seven mainline Churches and their faith-based Australian Non-Government Organisation (ANGO) counterparts.

For this role they are seeking a Consultant for up to 60 days inputs to review and further develop the CPP Charter, working across all program partners to identify elements for inclusion in the reviewed charter. The Consultant will maintain effective lines of communication across the program group.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• Well-developed knowledge of faith-based development organizations;
• Demonstrated understanding of the significant role played by churches in Papua New Guinea’s service delivery and civil society;
• Experience consulting across a wide group of partners and stakeholders and proactively facilitating balanced participation;
• Ability to develop achievable and measurable processes and work plans clearly linked to the consultation and assessment process;
