LAGA INDUSTRIES LIMITED is a long established manufacturing business based in Lae, Papua New Guinea. A vacancy currently exists in the above position. An opportunity exists for an experienced accountant to lead the finance team reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key responsibilities for this role

• Financial and Management reporting and compliance for the company in conjunction with the CFO.
• Develop, implement and report on budgets, capital requirements, manage procurement, foreign currency requirements, cash flows and associated reconciliations as well as involvement with board reporting and associated activities.

Job Requirements

• Have tertiary qualification in Accounting with CPA membership or pursuing CPA membership
• Have at least five (5) years experience in a senior accounting role and managing a team
• Have ability to meet all stakeholder requirements including board reporting, coaching, mentoring staff and conducting regular staff performance reviews
