Pacific Re Limited (PACRE) is now seeking to recruit a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to be based at its headquarters in Port Moresby, PNG.

Responsibilities

• Manage PACRE’s reinsurance business in accordance with its business plans, work plans, budgets, policies, goals, and objectives as approved by the Board of Directors.
• Provide organisational and strategic leadership to steer the senior management and staff towards attainment of the approved business plan goals and budget.
• Ensure that the PACRE’s technical analyses and underwriting decisions on pricing are consistent with profitability targets, approved delegations and underwriting criteria and guidelines.

Requirements

• 10 years Executive Management experience, and technical expertise in the Financial Services or Insurance and Re-Insurance industries and have led a similar business in the Asia and Pacific Regions.
• A specialist in insurance/ re-insurance business, opportunities, latest trends and innovation.
• Highly skilled in strategic planning and implementation, and business growth.
