Chief Executive Officer
The Special Economic Zone Authority is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who will provide daily leadership to ensure the SEZ Authority fulfills its legislative mandate and purpose. The CEO is responsible for maintaining consistently successful and efficient SEZ operations across the nation.
Responsibilities:
As CEO, responsibilities include building an organisation that enables successful SEZs and fostering strong relationships with investors, government bodies at all levels, and communities to create economically viable zones that attract investment and benefit all stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s, or master’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of executive management experience – demonstrated experience in SEZ executive management or experience in similar roles will be an advantage.
- In-depth understanding of the industry including risk management, compliance, regulatory requirements, local, and regional issues.
- In-depth understanding of the provisions of the Special Economic Zone Authority Act, 2019 is an important requirement.
