Hela Provincial Government (HIL) has incorporated its business entity in May 2018 with Hela Provincial Government as a single shareholder. The core business activity is the investment and equity management for Hela Provincial Government.

HIL is inviting exceptional candidates to apply for the vital role of: Chief Executive Officer.

The role is reporting directly to, and is accountable to the Board of Directors for the performance of a company and is responsible for the overall success of Hela Investment Limited. The CEO is responsible for leading the development and execution of long-term strategies, with the goal of increasing shareholder value.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction to the Board and the Executive Management team in developing and implementing the annual operating plan, the capital budget plan ensuring effective delivery of the long-term strategic plan
• Improving operating efficiency and delivering appropriate returns to the shareholder
• Establish and maintain mutually beneficial customer and stakeholder relationships
• Provide leadership, and maintain effective communication with all staff and stakeholders

Job requirements

• Master’s degree preferably business discipline or related field
• Must have more than 5 years senior executive management experience or former CEO experience with more than 15 years of career experience
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of board level experience
• Demonstrated Leadership, Management, Organizational, Analytical and Project Management skills
• Excellent communication and people management skills and have the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with top industry leaders.
