Kumul Consolidated Holdings (KCH) is a Statutory Corporation with a clearly defined mandate to build shareholder wealth and to improve the provision of services to the people of Papua New Guinea (PNG). KCH is the holding company for nine majority State Owned Enterprises (SOE) operating across a broad range of sectors in PNG and included in these SOEs is Kumul Telikom Holdings Limited (KTHL).

KTHL is responsible for the consolidation and transformation of the extensive state owned telecommunications & ICT assets of the Government of Papua New Guinea. The group consists of three entities and their subsidiaries; Dataco, Telikom PNG Ltd and Bemobile.

Bemobile Ltd is a 100% Government of PNG owned company as of November 2016 through KCH and has been operating since 1997. It is PNG’s very own and first ever mobile carrier with operations in PNG and the Solomon Island. It offers high speed data, reliable voice and SMS services.

To respond to both continued growth and demand for sophisticated telecommunications in an increasingly competitive environment, Bemobile is now inviting exceptional and highly motivated candidates to apply for the vital role of Chief Executive Officer.

The Chief Executive Officer is based in Port Moresby, PNG and reports directly to the KTHL Group CEO and Managing Director and is responsible to oversee, manage and provide strategic direction of Bemobiles business in Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands……..

Job requirements

To meet the challenge and be effective in the above role, you must possess and be able to demonstrate:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a recognized tertiary institution; preferably in Electrical Engineering and/or Business Administration,
• Master’s in Engineering/Business Administration from a reputable national/international institute is highly desirable,
• +10 years’ in a senior management role or similar,
• Background in telecommunications, ICT and emerging markets exposure will be highly regarded.
