Deloitte welcomes applications for the role of Chief Executive Office in Papua New Guinea.

Deloitte is seeking to recruit a high-calibre, high-energy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead a newly established power generation company in Papua New Guinea (PNG).

Responsibilities

As the CEO, you will report to the Board of Directors, you shall have the responsibility to lead in the provision of expert advice on industry matters and work to enhance the industry’s reputation with the company’s customers, political and regulatory stakeholders.

Requirements

1. A minimum master’s degree qualification in Engineering, Business Management, Economics, or a related discipline from an internationally recognized institution
2. At least 10 -15 years’ experience as part of a senior management team (C-suite role) and at least 2-3 years leading an organisation
3. Strong knowledge of and be able to provide credible advice on the energy industry (understand and have previous experience in power generation, transmission, distribution roles in energy/ power sector organisations)
