They are seeking a highly qualified and experienced executive to provide leadership and strategic policy directions to the Papua New Guinea Tourism Promotion Authority. The primary function of the Chief Executive Officer is to provide overall direction, control and administration of the Organisation in effectively performing its tourism promotion role as outlined in the Papua New Guinea Tourism Promotion Authority Act and to manage the Authority in accordance with the policy and direction of the Board. The person sought must possess a strong development, analytical, conceptual, logical and problem-solving knowledge; and leadership responsibilities, together with managerial capacity at an executive level.

Job requirements

Applicants must meet the PNG Public Service minimum person specifications and possess a minimum Degree and or, a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Tourism, Business Management or an appropriate qualification from a recognised University. He or she would normally have at least a minimum of (7) years’ experience at an executive level.
