The Chief Operations Officer is part of the Origin Energy PNG (OEPNG) Executive management team and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for managing the day to day safe operations, service and maintenance, supply and distribution of the business.

Key responsibilities include

• Day to day operational safety and compliance leadership
• Day to day management of an effective, cost efficient supply and distribution chain nationwide across 6 terminals and through a distribution network of 300 retailers.
• Ensuring plant and equipment are maintained to standard and operational for continual safe storage and discharge of LP Gas throughout all terminals, agents and customer premises.

Job Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Operations management
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in a similar role in the Energy, Fuel or Logistics industry.
• Experience in service oriented or customer facing role would be an added advantage.
