The National Agricultural Research Institute is looking to employ a suitably qualified Commercialization Manager.

The National Agricultural Research Institute (NARI) is the lead research organization, conducting and fostering applied and development oriented research in agriculture and rural development sectors in Papua New Guinea. Besides, NARI is responsible for providing analytical, diagnostic and advisory services to the agriculture sector. Such services include chemical analysis, advisory services and biometric and statistical services.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the following position which is available for immediate recruitment: Commercialization Manager – Grade 10 to 12The Commercialization Manager will be responsible for increasing the internal revenue base of NARI through commercialization of agricultural crops, livestock or other NARI released technologies in partnership with private-public enterprises…..

Job requirements

The successful candidate will have proven experiences in starting up commercial companies, demonstrated experiences with agricultural machinery and equipment, have a sound understanding of civil and building construction work including irrigation and water management, and be able to manage a large team of employees.

Applicants must hold a minimum of a strong degree in Agriculture or Agri-business Management and or related qualifications with over fifteen (15) years experiences in managing large commercial agro business enterprises, and previous work experiences in PNG is highly preferred……
