Cool Earth is looking for a Conservation Coordinator based in Milne Bay, PNG.
Responsibilities
- Be able to coordinate conservation-related project activities and environmental engagement events, to support sustainable resource use in partnership areas
- Strong ecology, conservation and land rights knowledge to support rural communities with projects relating to forest conservation and climate change
- Understanding of rainforest conservation and rural land use
Requirements
- Qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience in Conservation or International Development
- Fluent in written and spoken English language and Tok Pisin; Suau would be an advantage
- Proven experience in leading PNG-based conservation projects in the NGO sector
