The Department of Personnel Management is a Central Government Agency established under an Act of Parliament and provides governance and strategic direction in human resources management to the Public Service throughout the nation. In enhancing its statutory responsibilities, the department is now embarking on recruiting suitably qualified professionals for the following vacancy: Deputy Secretary – Human Resource Advisory & Compliance Audits, Grade 20
Key responsibilities
The successful applicant will report directly to the Secretary of the Department of Personnel Management and will provide leadership and direction in terms of Human Resources Advisory & Compliance Audits.
Job requirements
- Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations, Business Administration/ Management, Public Policy/Administration, Political Science or other appropriate discipline in Social Sciences.
- Must have high level of knowledge in Government political structures and administrative systems
- Must have at least ten (10) years relevant work experience at a senior managerial level in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Pay Policy, Monitoring and Compliance Audits areas and implementation of Human Resources functions in the Public or Private Sector.
