The Divine Word University (DWU) seeks to recruit a person with suitable qualifications and experience to fill the position of Director for Academic Quality Assurance.
The Director for Academic Quality Assurance is responsible to the Academic Board for policies and procedures to assure high quality academic programs. The position holder is responsible for establishing an Academic Quality Assurance Committee (AQAC) to review the development and implementation of academic programs, including their teaching and assessment.
Job requirements
Minimum academic qualification: PhD degree in any field from a recognized University. A postgraduate qualification in education or its equivalent is an added advantage.
Experience
Applicants should have experience of quality assurance and enhancement in higher education both at institutional and national levels, including a good understanding of current developments.
