The Department of Personnel Management is a Central Government Agency established under an Act of Parliament and provides governance and strategic direction in human resources management to the Public Service throughout the nation. In enhancing its statutory responsibilities, the department is now embarking on recruiting suitably qualified professionals for the following vacancy: Director – Corporate Affairs & Capacity Building, Grade 20

Key responsibilities

Responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction in the management and coordination of the Department’s key priority areas, particularly in: the department’s annual budgets, expenditures and reports, Financial Management, Corporate Planning Monitoring and Evaluations, HR Management, Assets & Public Sector Capacity Building including Training and Scholarship Management both internal and external.

Job requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Management, Public Policy/Administration, or other appropriate discipline in Social Sciences.
  • Must have high level of knowledge in Government Political Structures and administrative systems.
  • Must have at least ten (10) years relevant work experience at a senior managerial level in the areas of Corporate Affairs, Strategic Human Resources Management, Finance and Administration, Corporate Planning, Capacity Building and Training in consultation with donor partners.
