New Britain Palm Oil Limited is seeking to recruit suitably qualified candidates for its Estate Operations at Milne Bay Estates, Milne Bay Province.

New Britain Palm Oil Limited is the leading sustainable palm oil plantation and processing company in the Pacific Islands, managing over 111,000 hectares of oil palm, cattle and sugar in Papua New Guinea (PNG) and the Solomon Islands. Employing well over 18,000 people. NBPOL has the largest rural based non-government work force in PNG. The company is responsible for the wellbeing of over 25,000 men, women and children living and working in six business locations.

NBPOL is seeking to recruit suitably qualified candidates for its Estate Operations at Milne Bay Estates, Milne Bay Province.

Reporting to the Senior Estate Manager the incumbents will focus and execute the following responsibilities;

• Manage the Estate to ensure that targets are achieved effectively through people, equipment, financial, and information resources.
• Work closely with Senior Estate Manager on agreed production targets, productivity indicators and parameters.
• Ensure the estate headcount is maintained at neutral and effectively maximized.
• Ensure the efficient supply of tools, equipment, materials and parts to achieve expected outcomes and ensure ongoing availability.

Job requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Tropical Agriculture
• Minimum 5 years Estate operational experience
• Well versed in MS Word and Excel
• Interpersonal, communication, influencing and negotiations skills of a high order
• Highly competent in Situational Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring
