Papua New Guinea Sports Foundation is seeking an experienced executive for the role of Executive Director.

The Government is seeking a highly qualified and experienced executive to provide leadership and strategic policy directions to the Papua New Guinea Sports Foundation.

Key responsibilities

The role of the Executive Director is to be the Chief Executive Officer of the Papua New Guinea Sports Foundation to provide strategic leadership to achieve the Organization’s vision to “Raise Our Game” by leading and coordinating the delivery of quality sport and physical activity into the lives of all people in Papua New Guinea and to create opportunities for sporting excellence.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the PNG Public Service minimum person specifications which includes: a Bachelor’s Degree or Preferably Master’s Degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Human Resource Management, Economics or Business Administration from recognized institutions; have at least 10 years, proven track records of successful programs completed with a strong integrity and reputation of personal success and organizational success
