Air Niugini, the National Flag Carrier of Papua New Guinea, is looking for a candidate with an in-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting to join its team as Executive Manager Corporate Reporting.

Air Niugini is the National Flag Carrier of PNG, and has been in operation for over 45 years. It currently operates a fleet of Boeing 767/737, Fokker 70/100 aircraft, and its subsidiary Link PNG operates Bombardier DHC-8-200/300 aircraft, providing passenger and freight services throughout Papua New Guinea, Australia, South Pacific and South East Asia.

As part its journey of exciting changes to bring the Company to newer and greater heights, the Company seeks to recruit an Executive Manager Corporate Reporting to join its Finance Team and be part of this exciting experience.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Executive Manager Corporate Reporting is primarily responsible for financial reporting to both internal and external stakeholders, meeting stakeholder requirements and improving financial reporting for the Company.

Job requirements

The successful candidate will have an in depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting, management accounting including financial ratios, key performance indicators, financial analysis and variance analysis, with highly developed skills in Microsoft Suite Applications and graphical presentations. Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, development of strategies, policies and procedures within a similar organisation, possessing relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting and is a member of a Certified Practicing Accountant Association; and the ability to engage with business to ensure outcomes are achieved will be critical.
