Easy Skill PNG’s client, Pacific Re Ltd has a vacancy for the position of an Executive Manager Underwriting and Claims.

Key responsibilities

• Produce underwriting and claims performance reports for both portfolios (Treaty and Facultative) to management and board
• Undertake technical assessment, pricing and underwriting of business
• Managing the Underwriting processes for both Treaty and Facultative renewals and new businesses. Including technically assessing and underwriting business in accordance with Pac-Re underwriting guidelines, procedures and processes. It also includes reviewing policies and procedures and compliance requirements including contract administration.

Requirements

• Undergraduate / Post Graduate qualification in Business or Economics or ANZIIF Associate/Senior Associate qualifications are acceptable
• 5 + years’ experience in (Re) Insurance Underwriting and Claims experience in a managerial level;
• Sound reinsurance knowledge and understanding of the market, clients, competitors; regulation and legal requirements
