Financial Accountant – Career Growth Opportunity

Our client, a leading law firm operating in Port Moresby with offices in Australia,  is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their Port Moresby office.

Reporting to the Australian Financial Controller – our client is looking for a tertiary qualified accountant with at least 5 years experience in a professional business.

Overseeing day to day finance for the PNG office with requirements including: bank reconciliations, billing, debtor reports, trust and accounts payable processing, cash flows, disbursements, accounting entries in the system.

The positions will be liaising on a daily basis with the Australian team and be the go to accounting person in the POM office.

Job Requirements

• To be successful you require at least 5 years experience and a degree with Accounting as your major.
• You should be a member of the Accounting society and have commenced or be interested in pursuing CPA qualifications.
