First Investment Finance Limited (FIFL), a licensed Financial Institution, has been operating in PNG for over 32 years. FIFL provides loans and leases to individuals and corporate clients, as well as Foreign Exchange and Treasury Services. FIFL is part of the Kenmore Group, one of the largest and most diverse groups in PNG.

FIFL is now seeking to appoint a General Manager to manage day to day operations in alignment with strategy, lead business growth in a highly competitive market and maximise targeted financial returns to shareholders. Acquiring profitable new business will be balanced with managing key accounts and maintaining the credit quality of the asset portfolio.

Job requirements

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the national and international economies, deep executive management expertise in banking or finance with exposure to a board, and experience in all ranges of financial products. Sound knowledge of compliance requirement in PNG, Australia or similar environment and demonstrated ability to acquire and expand business through building sound relationships and providing creative solutions are required. The role reports to the CEO of the Kenmore Group and the FIFL Board and manages a team of 35.
