A Papua New Guinean organisation wants to hire a General Manager – Investments.

Deloitte’s client, a Papua New Guinean organization with subsidiaries and investment projects in the mining and petroleum industry is seeking to recruit a General Manager-Investments, based in Port Moresby.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Managing Director and forming part of the executive management team, you will be instrumental in guiding the future growth and development of the organization, directly supporting the creation of wealth, and improving the lives of the beneficiaries it manages.

Requirements

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or a relevant field is mandatory with a Master’s or MBA qualification being highly desirable
2. A minimum of 5-10 years of related experience handling investment portfolios (mining, resources, or financial sector experience are highly desirable)
3. Led and trained a team of investment professionals
