Digicel Group Ltd are currently seeking qualified candidate to fill the position of Head of Compliance (Pacific), to be based in at Port Moresby, National Capital District.

Responsibilities

• Help Compliance Officers (COs) provide samples and recommendations of Policies and Procedures such as Transaction Monitoring and Reporting, Risk, Settlement, Money Controls, Privacy, Fraud, Decease Customer Account Closure, Escheatment, etc. where such procedures do not exist.
• Establish a control in the number of Processes and Procedures and maintain them in a country-centralized folder. When possible avoid the proliferation of individual processes and procedures by incorporating them in a Manual or bigger processes and procedures.
• Prepare Quarterly Compliance Presentations to the Board for better understanding of Risk and Status of Program as well as setting the Tone at the Top

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Law, Accounting or Criminal Justice or related professional qualification
• Fifteen (15) + years of experience in the Compliance function in a Money Service Business, Payment Service Provider (PSP), Financial Institution or Regulatory Entity
• Knowledge and understanding of relevant laws and regulations relating to the Money Service Business, Electronic M-Wallet, Financial Services, Banking and Securities industries
