The IEA College of TAFE operates under the auspices of the International Education Agency of Papua New Guinea Ltd and the College is registered as a training organisation with the PNG National Training Council. The College operates campuses in Port Moresby, Lae, Mt Hagen and Kimbe and delivers Australian equivalent qualifications in accounting, business, finance, governance, training and assessment, tourism, hospitality, children’s’ services and information technology.

The IEA College of TAFE is seeking to appoint a Head of Department for Information Technology to lead delivery of Australian equivalent qualifications in Information Technology.

Job requirements

The successful applicant will have:

• Current technical knowledge and competencies in information technology.
• National Certificate 3 in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
• Degree in Information Technology or related discipline, and at least 5 years of vocational or lecturing experience relevant to delivery of higher level vocational qualifications in information technology.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
