Laga Industries Limited owns and manufactures ice-cream, beverages, cooking oils and banking products with a manufacturing and processing facility in Lae along with a distribution centre in Port Moresby and Highland Meadows for over 40 years.

They are seeking a qualified and experienced HR professional to strategically partner with the Laga leadership team line managers in enabling the transformation of the business & growth potential, by aligning to business & people priorities, enabling growth through people capability, inspired leadership, high performance and delivering step changes outcomes as well as managing the Laga HR team to deliver a high customer service employees. This position is based in Lae, PNG.

The role

• Implementing HR plans that directly enable the business strategies.
• Effectively influencing management and employees on the business & people agenda.
• Assist with the implementation and coordination plans to develop LAGA Frontline Leadership capability.

Job requirements

• Degree or tertiary qualification in appropriate discipline (e.g. HR, IR,OD)
• 3+ years at HRBP or HR Manager level
• Experience in PNH country legislation and labor law.
• Strong Computer skills.
