Responsibilities

Reporting to the General Manager, the Human Resource Manager is responsible to plan, direct and coordinate all activities in the Human Resource Function of the organisation. Ensure and improve the performance, productivity and efficiency of the function’s activities through the provision of effective HR management methods and strategies.

The Human Resource Manager is accountable for the following:

• Coordinate, manage and monitor the workings of the human resource, contract labour hire business line and payroll section in the organisation. Sustain core skill areas and competencies support to the Kutmor Human Resources and pay roll department
• Improve Human Resource processes and policies in support of organisational goals. Formulate and implement departmental and organisational policies and procedures to maximise output. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures
• Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR, IT and Finance), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions

Job requirements

• University degree in Human Resource Management, Strategic Management or equivalent
• Good knowledge in Human Resource Management in the construction and labour recruitment industry
• Good knowledge of all statutory requirements for Human Resource Management and Compliance in Papua New Guinea and overseas
• Very good knowledge of statutory regulations, codes and practices of the human resource management and strategy industry
