Job Description

Oxfam is seeking an experienced and qualified Humanitarian Projects Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall management of COVID-19 project implementation in identified districts in Eastern Highlands, Simbu and Milne Bay,
• Work with local implementing partners on planning, monitoring, budget management and successful implementation of project activities in targeted districts,
• Support and ensure DRR Plans for the target districts in Simbu Province are inclusive and the process is inclusive and participatory

Requirements

• A degree or a professional level qualification in Humanitarian, social science, development studies, agriculture, livelihoods, community development or in a relevant discipline
• Good understanding and experience of humanitarian preparedness, response, gender and women’s rights issues, people with disability inclusion, including a fair understanding of gender mainstreaming in humanitarian response or demonstrated ability and motivation to quickly acquire such knowledge.
• Experience of working with the government systems, and ability to liaise with strong networks
