The Brian Bell Group has a vacancy for a talented individual to join its team as Internal Audit Manager.

The Brian Bell Group (BBG) established in 1958 is now Papua New Guinea’s foremost retailer, wholesaler and distributor. The Group employs over 1,200 employees nationwide and is a multi-million Kina business. Brian Bell Group is inviting exceptional candidates to apply for the vital role of Internal Audit Manager.

This position is based in Port Moresby and reports to the Audit & Risk Committee functionally and the CEO administratively.

Key accountabilities

•  Development of the Three-Year Internal Audit Strategic Plan and One Year Internal Audit Annual Plan
• Manages performance of audit assignments, reviews workpapers and audit reports; edits reports prepared by internal audit officers
• Provides leadership to assigned internal audit officers, manage project to quality outcomes, while meeting established time budget

Qualifications & skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business or Accounting
• Minimum of five years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified above
• Full membership of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) of Papua New Guinea, or equivalent
