The Judicial and Legal Services Commission is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons to be considered for appointment as District Court Magistrate.
Job requirements
A candidate for consideration is required to possess the following qualifications, skills, experience and personal qualities:
• Must have a bachelor of laws degree with suitable grades from a recognised law university
• Must be admitted to practice law in PNG
• Must have at least a minimum of four (4) years practice as a barrister/solicitor
• Have the ability to acquire an effective working knowledge of the law and its practice and procedures of the District Court.
