Bemobile Limited is recruiting a Legal Manager with Regulatory & Compliance expertise.

The Manager Legal-Regulatory and Compliance will be based in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea and will report to the Chief Executive Officer. The Manager-Legal Regulatory and Compliance will also handle regulatory and legal business for Bemobile Solomon Islands.

Key responsibilities

• Provides Senior Management Team (SMT) and management with advice and guidance in identifying critical problems to which the application of legal principles yields the greatest opportunities for minimising risks and maximising profit

• Acts as an advisor to SMT, Board of Directors with complete transparency on matters impacting the daily and strategic operations of the business
• Oversees and coordinates legal activities and functions to ensure the company’s legal posture is developed and maintained

Requirements

• Graduate Degree from an accredited law school
• Registered and practising Lawyer
• Extensive years of experience in regulatory/legal
• Background in telecommunications or mobile industry is an advantage
