NCSL is seeking applications from suitably qualified persons for the role of Loans Officer based at its regional office in Lae.

The Society is seeking applications from suitably qualified persons for the role of Loans Officer based at our regional office in Lae, and reporting to the Manager Lending. The successful applicant must have minimum five (5) years’ experience in the origination, processing and management of loans.

The successful applicant will be required to effectively

• Monitor and process the required number of loan applications per day within the agreed service standards,
• Provide assistance to the manager to bring in new and increased loan applications to achieve the agreed targets,
• Monitor and manage delinquent loans within agreed thresholds,
• Review and assess loan applications and provide feedback within agreed delivery standards,
• Provide assistance to the manager in introducing new loan products and services,
• Review and assess loan applications received in a timely manner within agreed credit standards and requirements,
• Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.

Essential qualifications, technical Skills & experience

• Proven exposure in reviewing and assessing loans in a timely manner within credit policy requirements,
• Demonstrated exposure in processing loans within the required service standards and providing regular update to members and employers,
• Possess more than five (5) years of proven exposure in reviewing and processing loans and managing down delinquency levels,
• Tertiary Qualification in Banking & Finance, Business Management, Accounting or related field,
• Strong customer experience and ability to interact and cooperate with all staff and maintain professionalism that meets company core values.
