Anitua Mining Services Ltd is seeking to hire a Maintenance Superintendent. The position will develop and implement a maintenance strategy to maximise the availability of the fleet and provide for smooth operation of the workshops.

Reports to the Maintenance Manager and will work closely with the Operations Manager.  The Workshop Coordinators, Supervisors & Planners will report to this position to provide direct contact between the maintenance areas and management.

Our ideal candidate will:

• Ensure compliance to all mandatory and statutory Safety and active Mining operation requirements and compliance to AMS and NML policies and procedures
• Manage a maintenance workforce located across all workshops, ensuring systems and performance compliance are in place with the highest standard
• Mentor the national Superintendents with the aim of being fully functioning in the roles purpose and self-sufficient in this position with in a 3 year time period.

Qualifications, skills & experience

• Relevant Trade qualification (essential)
• Minimum fifteen (15) years post trade experience & 10 years in a leadership/Supervisory role in a maintenance department, preferably in mining and/or civil construction environments
• Light Vehicle Drivers Licence (Essential)
