Mainland Holdings is looking to recruit a talented Management Accountant.

Mainland Holdings have number of accounting position vacancies Lae based and come with attractive packages including accommodation. The incumbents will report directly to the Financial Controller and also will be an integral part of the company’s senior management team.

Management accountant

Role description

• Verify financial transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
• Supervise and delegate work to staff accountants to accomplish accounting objectives
• Verify calculations and input codes in to the Account System in an accurate manner.
• Review billing data from timesheet or sales slips and purchase orders to ensure amounts and account numbers are accurate

Job requirements

 To be successful it is essential you possess the following:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accountancy, Commerce, Business or a related discipline.
• CPA membership and the eligibility to gain CPA PNG professional membership.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting role at a senior level preferably gained within a corporate environment.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing budgets and management accounts
