The Management of Port Moresby General Hospital invites suitably qualified and experienced personnel to fill the following vacant Position: Manager Catering & Domestic Services

The Manager Catering & Domestic Services has the overall responsibility for the effective planning, co-ordination, monitoring and evaluation of all activities relating to the activities of Catering and Domestic Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Effective and efficient management of the hospital’s Catering and Domestic services, in accordance with hospital requirements.
• Leading the Catering & Domestic Services team, develop, implement and evaluate plans, policy or guidelines on hospital catering and domestic services, in accordance with the hospital’s requirements.
• Initiate, direct and manage change in the operations of the Catering and Domestic Services.

Job Requirements

• A tertiary qualification in Hospitality and Tourism from a recognize educational institution is essential.
• Additional qualifications in Management is an advantage
• Public Service (Management) Act and the General Orders.
  Knowledgeable in the use of computer programs MS Word, MS Excel is essential
• Able to organize and lead a team of Senior Supervisors
