PNGJobSeek’s client is welcoming applications for the role of Manager – Climate Change and Resilience.

Work for one of the largest foreign aid programs in the South Pacific. To be based in Port Moresby, PNG.

Responsibilities

The Manager-Climate Change and Resilience will lead the delivery of ESIP’s climate change and disaster resilience (CCDR) goals and outcomes. This will include supporting the development, and leading the implementation, of an ESIP CCDR Strategy and providing ongoing technical advice and quality assurance to ESIP’s social and economic infrastructure and off-grid grant teams.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications preferably master’s degree in climate science, climate change adaptation, environmental science, water resource management, engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum 10 years of experience in practical and demonstrated experience in working effectively in the Pacific
• Knowledge of broader disaster risk management, including non-climate risks and hazards
