Bank South Pacific is seeking applications for the role of Manager Credit Inspection based in Port Moresby.

The Manage Credit Inspection role is based in Port Moresby and reports to the Board Risk & Compliance Committee and administratively to the Group Chief Risk Officer. The successful applicant will be responsible for the regular onsite inspections on credit risk compliance and portfolio quality assurance throughout the BSP Group. Primary objective is the detection of any material shortcomings in the assessment, approval, management, control and/or reporting of credit risk/counterparty risk.

Job requirements

• University degree or other tertiary institution, preferably Accounting, Economics, Legal or Finance.
• Minimum 12 years of professional banking experienced of which minimum 7 years in (Senior) Risk Management positions.
• Experience in managing Credit Risk.
• Advanced level of written and oral English skills.
• People Management Skills.
• Analytical skills & Commercial Awareness.
