Job description

The Legal Training Institute (LTI) is a Government Statutory Body created by the Post-Graduate Legal Training Institute Act of 1972.

LTI provides practical legal training for law graduates who wish to be admitted as lawyers of the National and Supreme Courts of Papua New Guinea. LTI contributes to nation building by producing the best lawyers the country has to offer. The standard and quality of training at LTI is equivalent to benchmarked standards set by the Australasian Practical Legal Education Authority. LTI is a member of the Australasian Practical Legal Education Conference and continues to work in partnership with the Papua New Guinea Local Bar, the Victorian Bar of Melbourne, Australia and the Queensland Bar of Australia.

Job requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management or allied field.
• Minimum of 10 years work experience as a Manager – Human Capital Management or similar role in the Public Service or Private Sector.
• The applicant must have a good work ethic, be computer literate and poses excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• The applicant must be able to work in a team.
