Bank South Pacific has a vacancy for a qualified Manager Investigations in Port Moresby.

Manager investigations: This position is based in Port Moresby and reports to the Head of Security Services. The successful candidate will be responsible to coordinate investigation actions between Business Units in BSP ensuring all allocated investigations are appropriately assessed, allocated, planned, managed and thoroughly investigated.

Key deliverables

• Ensure on site BSP security staff maintains professional service delivery standards consistent with our relevant SOP’s and appropriate to the CIA and BSP’s code of conduct.
• Liaise on a daily basis with stakeholders to prioritise and develop investigation strategies for all newly reported incidents to ensure the coordination of investigative actions.
• Assess and prioritise all inquiries allocated to Investigation Unit and delegate inquiries for investigation to ensure work load equity.
• Ensure all investigations are planned, managed and maintained within the BSP Case Management System and ensure that policies and procedures are maintained, reviewed and kept contemporary.

Job requirements

• Qualification in Law, Audit, Investigations and Police Prosecution.
• Proficient in Oral & Written English.
• Proficient in Business Planning and Risk Assessment.
• Sound knowledge of Policies & Procedures interpretation.
• Sound knowledge of Banking audit practices.
