Vodafone PNG is wants to recruit a qualified and experienced lawyer for the role of Manager Legal, Regulatory and Compliant.

Vodafone PNG has launched a brand-new mobile network in Papua New Guinea and are looking for dynamic, experienced personnel to join its team in the following area of Manager Legal, Regulatory and Compliant based in Port Moresby.

Responsibilities

• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in all areas of the business as per relevant legislations and regulatory compliance in PNG
• Provide legal opinions, contract drafting and review or other corporate legal related work referred to the Legal. Department by other Business Units, Executive Management or the Board
• Attend to civil litigation matters to represent the company in accordance with the Legal guidelines

Requirements

• Degree in Law and admitted to the practice as a Barrister and Solicitor with the High Court of PNG
• At least 7 years’ experience in Legal Practice and attendance to civil litigation
• Proven experience on working with Boards to undertake company secretarial duties
