The Bank of PNG invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the Manager – Life Insurance Supervision Unit position based in Port Moresby.
Responsibilities
- Prudentially supervise, assess and ensure compliance with the relevant Acts and prudential standards, and promotes and ensures the sound prudential management of the life insurance sector of the financial services industry.
- Ensure the development of the LISU capability.
- Assist the SLISD Manager in Budget Development
Requirements
- Have a Degree or Master’s Degree in Banking/Finance, Accounting, Business or related fields.
- Have seven plus years’ experience in the financial industry at a management level.
- Have a sound knowledge of the financial industries and the relevant Acts, prudential standards and other related legislation.
