Ok Tedi Mining has a vacancy for a qualified mining engineer to join its team as Manager Mine Technical Services.

Ok Tedi Mining Ltd is seeking an experienced and qualified Manager Mine Technical Services, this position is a FIFO role with an option to elect for Residential status and relocate family to Tabubil, Western Province.

Responsibilities

• Providing effective leadership and technical support and guidance in the areas of Geotechnical & Hydrogeology, Mine Planning, Survey and Geology;
• Development of practical designs, plans and solutions incorporating all technical aspects to ensure a safe, efficient and productive mining environment;
• Coordinating the mine’s annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes and ensuring results are delivered to stakeholder’s expectations;

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or related discipline;
• Over 20 years’ experience in mining resources / mining sector, of which 10+ years’ experience is in managerial roles;
• In-depth knowledge and application in Open Pit mining operations, planning & scheduling and technical fields;
