Manager Risk & Compliance

Based at their Head Office, Port Moresby, this position reports to the General Manager as well as the NCSL Board Audit Risk & Remuneration Committee (ARRC). The successful applicant must have minimum five (5) years’ experience in managing business risk and compliance matters and minimising risks within the business and ensuring full compliance to internal processes, statutory and regulatory laws and contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and ensure both internal and external compliance obligations are achieved, and operational risks are identified and communicated to subject matter experts,
  • Monitor and review Business Risk Analysis and effectively identify, mitigate and monitor all internal and external sources of risks,
  • Manage all operational risks (actual losses and near-miss events) and address internal compliance failures for operational efficiency,

Job requirements

  • Proven exposure in managing a Risk & Compliance team to identify, assess and mitigate sources of risks within a Business,
  • Demonstrated exposure in leading a Risk & Compliance Team to ensure root causes are identified in business risks and mitigation strategies initiated and implemented,
  • Possess more than five (5) years of exposure in business risk and compliance matters and reports available to stakeholders as per scheduled,
