PNG Air is seeking experienced Manager for the purchasing and stores department.

This opportunity is based at the PNG Air Engineering Hangar in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea and will be on either on Tour Basis [Fly in Fly out] or Full Time in PNG.

PNG Air with its new fleet of ATR 72-600 series aircraft and a workforce of over 750 is now one of the largest airline operators in this region with extensive operations in the domestic network. The airline is also expanding rapidly to cater for the phenomenal growth in the Papua New Guinea economy.

Job Requirements

For your application to be successful, you must have the following;

• Have strong, mature leadership qualities with a desire to excel in a growing business environment
• Safety will be your number one (1) focus
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a leadership role, supply chain management or Tertiary qualifications ideally in Business or Supply / Stores Management.
• Be able to use inventory systems and understand stock controlling principles with a focus on savings / Stock control and demonstrated ability in identifying and implementing costs savings and process improvements initiatives.
